Data Engineering for Forest Systems

This research area focuses on integrating heterogeneous forest data across spatial scales and time horizons to improve how current forest conditions are represented. By combining field observations, remote sensing, inventories, and emerging data streams, the work advances both data infrastructures and ecological formulations—enabling new insights, more robust models, and questions that were previously impossible to address.
